Here’s a look at what’s in store for REV Group during FDIC …
E-ONE REVEALS METRO 100 QUINT FIRE TRUCK
E-ONE is displaying the first-ever E-ONE Metro 100 singe-axle Quint fire truck. While the Metro 100 Quint offers a small footprint for narrow city streets, this aerial features E-ONE’s renowned 2.5 to 1 structural safety factor, making it a 25% stronger than the standard. (KME will also be on display with its own 2.5 to 1 structural safety factor aerials.)
The compact design on E-ONE’s high-strength integral torque box chassis features crisscross under-slung jacks with a spread of only 11’ and a 235” wheelbase for great maneuverability. The Metro 100 allows crews to fight fires with up to a 2000 GPM pump and 300 or 500 gallon tank capacity, with the choice of a LTH 100, HM 100 or 110’ aerial device with the Advanced Aerial Control System or direct hydraulic controls. The unit has an extruded aluminum body and offers 156’ of ground ladders, a SideStacker hosebed and full-depth compartments.
E-ONE’s first Metro 100 Quint was built for the Sarasota County Fire Department in Florida. The department, which serves the Florida west coast with 29 stations, has purchased more than 35 fire trucks from E-ONE since 1985.

HORTON AMBULANCE ROLLS TO FDIC SHOW WITH NEW INNOVATIONS
The first manufacturer to ever build an ambulance on an Ecoline chassis in 1968, Horton has long been revered as the innovator in the industry. Five decades later, Horton is carrying on that innovator tradition. The REV ambulance brand will roll to FDIC with new product enhancements certain to be the talk of the show.
Horton will debut Directional Safety Lights, a revolutionary feature that will help guide traffic around accident scenes. These lights, integrated into the top rear portion of the vehicle, flash left or right to signal the directional flow of traffic. In addition to these new directional safety lights, Horton will debut recessed underbody lights for a cleaner look and durable lighting.
And because crews are always at the forefront of Horton’s mind, the REV brand is proud to showcase its all-new Heat/Cool Seat at FDIC, as well as the revolutionary integration of the Cool-Tech II™ HVAC system into the Intelliplex i4G™ control system. Now, crews can now monitor and service the condenser and “smart fans” through the i4G system, right down to fan rotation and amp draw.
