Ocala, FL (May 24, 2016) –E-ONE, a member of REV Group (REV), a leading manufacturer of motor vehicles for commercial, fire & emergency and recreation markets, is completing and delivering on a multi-unit project awarded by the Defense Logistic Agency Troop Support Construction & Equipment’s Heavy Equipment Procurement Program (HEPP) for six U.S. Navy 4-by-4 Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting (ARFF) vehicles.
“The U.S. Navy specifications stress safety and include features that bring advancing technologies to their firefighters” said RJ Jones E-ONE’s Sales and Product Manager for ARFF and Federal Government Products.
Features on the ARFF vehicles include Pressure Pro monitoring systems that wirelessly display tire pressure to the driver within the cab. An electric/hydraulic ladder rack increases ergonomics by allowing the ladders to be accessed from ground level.
