Featuring one of the largest BusCon 2016 booths, REV Group will display its most exciting and innovative bus lineups yet at Booth #727. During the Sept. 19-21 expo at the Indiana Convention Center, REV will announce the unveiling of the all-new World Trans bus brand, highlight Champion’s innovative medium-duty, low-floor transit bus on a cutaway Ford F-550 chassis and showcase the latest innovations in Krystal and Federal’s luxury bus lineup.
Here’s a glance at the highlights you’ll find at this 4,250 sq. ft. booth:
Champion will unveil the LF Transport® F-550, the first-ever low-floor transit bus to be built on a heavy-duty cutaway Ford F-550 chassis. The new LF Transport raises the bar in cutaway low-floor capacity, featuring up to 27 passengers on select configurations. The bus is Ford QVM certified to maintain all OEM warranties and also offers the first-ever transit front cap with large panoramic forward observation windows. REV will officially unveil World Trans, a new transit bus brand after a soft launch of its narrow-body T-Series model at the APTA Bus & Paratransit Conference in May. REV will showcase the T-Series, built on a Ford transit cutaway chassis, and the never-seen-before E-Series, built on the Ford E-350/450 at BusCon. In October, World Trans will release the G Series on the Chevy G3500/4500. Click here for more brand details. World Trans brand manager Darrin Hendrixson will be available for one-one-one interviews.
The 2017 Krystal luxury bus rolls to BusCon with a whole new REVamped look, both inside and out. The interior features a drop-down TV in the front, plus upgraded luggage racks with monitors, while a custom audio/visual cabinet hides electronics and a trash receptacle. The Krystal exterior features a new fiberglass cap with panoramic forward observation windows. Meanwhile, Federal will showcase a reimagined front cap slope, featuring a standard front-viewing window. Click here for more model details. Federal and Krystal Brand Manager Larry Mabery will be available for one-on-one interviews.
In addition to Bus Group’s newest products, the REV booth will feature the REV-branded No. 3 Chevrolet that three-time Indy 500 winner Helio Castroneves drove during this year’s Phoenix Grand Prix. The famed driver will stop by the booth from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on Sept. 21 to sign autographs and participate in a special REV raffle.
