In an exciting partnership for REV Group and their Mobility brand, Revability, actor Micah Fowler of ABC’s Speechless fame, has become the brand ambassador for Revability and its lineup of wheelchair accessible vans (WAVs). Fowler, a 19-year old actor with Cerebral Palsy, helped launch the Revability brand in late November 2017, and is a firm advocate for others with Cerebral Palsy. As he has for the Revability platform, Fowler uses his various social platforms and role on Speechless to raise awareness for those in the business of helping others.
Fowler has been displaying his acting chops on the Speechless television show since 2016, having landed a role in an American drama film just three years prior.
Speechless, now in its second season, is a sitcom centered around a family of five who move into an upscale neighborhood in order to find an inclusive education system for their oldest son, Jimmy, a high school student with Cerebral Palsy, played by Fowler. On Speechless, Fowler’s character cannot speak, and instead communicates with others with the assistance of wheelchair-mounted communication devices, as well as through Fowler’s many expressions and mannerisms.
On November 29th, Fowler was given the use of a 2016 Chrysler Advantage SE (SE stands for Side Entry), a WAV he describes as “super slick” and says, “look real cool” on his social media accounts.
“I love using the new Revability accessible van. I can wheel right in and right out without assistance, and it’s got a ton of awesome features that are increasing my independence every day,” announced Fowler.
Fowler’s efforts extend further than Revability, as he is a vocal supporter for the Cerebral Palsy Foundation. At YourCPF.org, visitors can learn about the CPF’s mission, the work they’ve accomplished, as well as Fowler’s involvement as one of their brand ambassadors. Visitors can also contribute to the CPF by heading to their donation page, as well as by signing up on their volunteer page to help with the foundation’s many goals and objectives.
Alongside its lineup of innovative mobility vehicles, the all-new Revability website welcomes visitors with a commitment to help users of all abilities connect with the world. This is accomplished with a number of side- and rear-entry WAVs, many seating and feature customizations, and customer service that makes the purchasing process as stress-free and accommodating as possible.
